Dr. Steve Kicinski (Dr. K to staff and many patients) has come to Comfort Rehab after over 13 years of chiropractic practice in a variety of clinical settings. He is a 1997 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic where he had an opportunity to interact with Dr. Parker himself. In August of 2007, Dr. Kicinski had the distinction of being only the second person admitted to the Chiropractic Spine Fellowship Program at the Texas Back Institute, studying alongside Orthopedic Spine Fellows. This program allowed him to evaluate, treat, and/or triage over 1,000 patients and observe over 40 surgical procedures during the program year.

Dr. Kicinski has a keen interest in health and fitness. He is both a teacher and an athlete. He conducts nutritional seminars and is a Crossfit Level 1 Certified Trainer. Dr. Kicinski has placed in a state level bodybuilding contest, was a nationally ranked powerlifter, and currently pursues Crossfit competitions, which combine many athletic disciplines in a competitive event.

Dr. K enjoys the challenge of treating many different types of patients, but has a special affinity for working with individuals who wish to further their athletic achievements. This can be done by properly aligning the spine and extremities and correcting biomechanical imbalances. Dr. Kicinski is an expert in identifying these imbalances and correcting them.
